What We Do
Radiant Heat Systems Services
From heated driveways and walkways to whole-home radiant floors, we arrange installs sized for mountain conditions.
Commercial Snow Melt Systems
Automatic sensor-triggered heat keeps loading docks, entrance ramps, and high-traffic slabs clear of ice and snow. Systems use either electric heating cables or hydronic tubing with a boiler and propylene glycol loop, matched to your surface type and coverage area.
Heated Driveway Systems
Electric heating cable or hydronic PEX tubing embedded in concrete, asphalt, or pavers clears snow automatically using a ground-mounted sensor and controller. A written estimate covers full coverage or tire-track-only zones based on your driveway layout and BTU load.
Heated Entry Stairs
Heating cable embedded under concrete, stone, or paver stair treads activates via a temperature and moisture sensor, clearing ice before it builds. The system eliminates repeated salting that damages stone and paver surfaces common in Golden foothills homes.
Heated Garage Slabs
PEX tubing is laid over rigid foam insulation board, secured to rebar, and pressure-tested before concrete is poured. The system connects to a boiler and slab sensor after the pour cures, delivering consistent floor-level heat through Golden’s coldest months.
Heated Patios & Terraces
Heating mats or cables are placed under pavers, stone, concrete, or tile during installation or surface replacement, then connected to a thermostat and sensor. Zone controls let you heat specific areas independently, keeping operating costs proportional to the space in use.
Heated Walkways
Electric heating cable or snow melting mats are embedded under concrete or paver walkway surfaces and connected to an automatic activation sensor. Coverage area is calculated to match your path width and length, and the NEC-compliant electrical connection is part of the permitted install.
Radiant Heat Systems
Hydronic PEX tubing embedded in your slab or subfloor circulates heated water to deliver even, floor-level warmth. An altitude-adjusted BTU load evaluation ensures the system is sized for Golden’s climate, not sea-level defaults.
Whole-Home Radiant Floors
A hydronic manifold distributes heated water from a condensing boiler or heat pump through looped PEX tubing under every room, with zone controls for each area. PEX A tubing at 9- to 12-inch spacing and sub-slab insulation board are standard components in an altitude-adjusted whole-home layout.
